Mrs. Pinkerman

It was hard to end the year without all our usual year end activities. I miss you all and want you to know you grew so much.  I'm looking forward to
FINALLY seeing students, new and old, in August!

School may be out for the summer but be sure to leave
READING (EVERYDAY) in your schedule!

Looking ahead to the 2020-2021 School Year:

I'm so excited to be kicking off my third year with this amazing team of teachers at the NEW Lamar Spalding Elementary school!  Most of you will not only be moving up to a new grade (1st grade!) but you will also be at a new school, with some new faces.  Sure some things will be different but I think you will see many of the same familiar faces that greeted you everyday last year.  So, get ready to make some new friends and explore some new spaces, because this is your year to shine!  I can't wait to meet you and your family as we begin the 2020-2021 school year!

  About me:
I have worked in the Darlington County School District for the past 6 years, teaching 1st Grade at Washington Street Elementary and 5K at Southside Early Childhood Center, in Hartsville.

I hold degrees in Business Administration and Early Childhood Education from Coker College, Hartsville, SC, and am certified as a Level 1 Google Educator and a Seesaw Ambassador.

My husband and I have two daughters - one is in college and the other is a senior in high school.  We have a dog named Willie, who is crazy!

Some of my favorite things are reading, baking, taking pictures, playing board games, shopping (!), spending time at the beach, and yelling "Go Blue" most Saturday's in the fall as we watch The University of Michigan play football!
